Leave the world in better conditions in wich you found it.

About This Quote

We all have heard the phrase “leave the world a better place.” The idea is that we should contribute to the world in a positive way, especially by leaving it a better environment in which we have found it. However, this is not always the case. In fact, the opposite is often true. We often use our time and resources in a negative way that negatively effects others around us.

Perhaps we send our trash from one city to another when we could have been recycling. Or, maybe we could have been helping someone who needs help instead of buying things for ourselves. In his book “The Art of Happiness: A Handbook for Living,” Dalai Lama says: “Your job is too important to do badly….You can never leave your life a mess.

If you do your best, everything will work out fine.”
